Eliminate initial "unknown" feelings and concerns regarding sight loss.
Encourage blind and visually impaired individuals to explore resources & organizations.
Encourage and educate about blindness. We believe in creating a community who can help each other through the power of prayer and support.
Explore options for individual needs
(e.g., magnifiers, CCTV's, recorders, cell phones, JAWS, talking clocks, white canes ,watches, and applications).
Demonstrate the possibilities of independent living for blind individuals (cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, traveling alone, furthering education, lecturing, etc.)
Connect & Introduce individuals to visually impaired centers, vocational rehabilitation, Division of Blind Services, National Federation of the Blind, ADA, etc.
